Three operating modes are available: Floating (standard): the location zones are not fixed, as in the case of Metal Detectors with multiple receiver-transmitter coils, but are variable and continuous so as to achieve optimum resolution; 8-Zones and 4-Zones: the alarm threshold can be adjusted individually for each zone. The CEIA SMD601TM is a Multi-Zone Walkthru Metal Detector specifically designed to comply with the new NIJ Standard-0601.02 (U.S. Dep. of Justice). The Standard establishes new requirements of Sensitivity, Discrimination and Immunity for Law Enforcement and Correctional Facilities.

This is an extremely sensitive device for the detection of conventional weapons, such as pistols and knives, as well as small, hard-to-find items, normally difficult to detect, that could be considered a threat to officer and prisoner safety.

The MIL-D1 is a portable, high-sensitivity Metal Detector designed to detect magnetic and non-magnetic metals in conductive

and nonconductive soils, including laterite and magnetite. The Metal Detector comprises a detection head, a telescopic

handle, an electronics unit, a canvas carry-bag and a High Impact Polypropylene Case.

The detection head is light, and the wiring is designed to be protected from any possible damage. The electronics unit can be carried over the shoulder, attached to a belt using special hooks, or as an integral part of the telescopic handle.
