1.
Put on the disposable gloves. Open the white plastic tube
and slide the ink roller out of the container onto a plastic
bag or paper towel. Insert the hollow tube into the axle
hole in the roller. The tube should fit so it is approximately
flush with both ends of the ink roller.
2.
Attach one acorn nut, finger-tight, to one end of the
roller axle. Slip the free end on the axle through one
of the handle bracket assembly arms until it protrudes
about 1/2 inch. Slip a washer over the end of the axle.
3.
Slide the roller onto the axle. Slide the axle through
the roller until the threaded end is visible. Slip the
remaining washer over the end of the axle. Note that the
washer goes between the roller and the handle assembly
arm.
4.
Slide the axle through the second handle bracket assembly
arm. Attach the remaining acorn nut to the end of the
axle. Tighten both acorn nuts. Place the vinyl caps over
the acorn nuts.
5.
Prepare the roller for use by gently wiping the roller
surface with one of the towelettes provided to remove
areas of excess ink. Dispose of all packing materials
and remove gloves. Use the remaining towelette to clean
hands as necessary.
