Diamond Point Retractable Scriber

Maintaining the chain of custody on evidence is of utmost importance in the successful prosecution of a case in court. Besides proper packing and labeling of the package, it is still important to be able to look at the evidence when it is out of the package to positively identify it as having come from the scene of the crime. Frequently, in court, the District Attorney will have removed the evidence from the package and hand it to you on the stand. You should put your initials, case number, date and time somewhere on the piece of evidence. Our diamond-tip scriber can help you with that task.

The 5 1/2" retractable-point diamond-tip scriber can be used to mark your initials, date and case number on hard metal objects or glass surfaces. Replacement tips are available.

Hemostats Full set of 10

Use these surgical stainless steel hemostats to pick up or handle bloody evidence or to handle documents being treated with DFO or Ninhydrin. 5 styles all have locking clamps on the handles. They can be cleaned in alcohol or other solvents or can be autoclaved. These high quality units can be used again and again. Do not use metal tools with Physical Developer processing. Instead, use our polystyrene tweezers.

LIMMM Tool Kit
